Shipping Policy

Most of the items in our store are shipped directly from Lisbon, Maryland or if it is with UPS we ship from Mt. Airy, Maryland. We do have a few companies that we use to drop-ship and we will be more than happy to give you the shipping costs and how they ship before you purchase. You can contact us at sfleming@behnkes.com

Shipping Carrier:  We use USPS to ship all of our items that are not dropped shipped. You have the option of Priority Mail or First Class

* Due to the price increase with the USPS, we will also be shipping with UPS when needed on larger packages. 

Shipping Costs: The USPS bases its cost on the size and weight of the item being shipped. These costs are shown when you click on any of the items you are purchasing. Our items are shipped on a 'per order' per cost' 'per pound' basis.  Orders over $100 have FREE SHIPPING. Enter Code FREE SHIPPING for orders over $100

Tracking: USPS Priority Mail and First Class Postage all offer tracking. You will receive an email with the tracking number as soon as the label is printed. 

Delivery Time:  
We make every effort to ship your item as soon as you purchase it. Sometimes even going to the post office more than once a day. If you order before 11 AM EST Monday- Friday your item will be shipped the same day. If your order comes in after 11 AM EST your item will go to the post office by 4 pm to be shipped. After 4 PM EST, your item will go out the next day. Saturday orders received before 10 AM EST will go out on Saturday. After 10 AM EST, Saturday and Sunday orders will go out the following Monday morning. 

Lost or Damaged Items: Sometimes things happen. Last Winter was a struggle for all of us with the USPS having major delays due to COVID 19. We will do our best to get your item to you as fast as we can. However, in case there is an issue and you do not receive your item on time or your item arrives damaged we will send out a replacement ASAP at our cost. Additionally, if your items arrive damaged we will also refund your shipping. 

Returns & Exchanges: If for any reason, you are not happy with your item, please contact us ASAP at sfleming@behnkes.com. We will refund your money or send a replacement item out right away.  We will send you a return label if needed at our expense. We only ask that you let us know within 10 days. 

International Shipping: At this time we only ship in the continental United States 


Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted.

  • Book with obvious signs of use.
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Late or missing refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sfleming@beyondbehnkes.com for a return shipping address.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will let you know as soon as we send your refund 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
